When you talk about the City of London with a capital C, this is it. A small city within Greater London, otherwise known as the ‘Square Mile’.
During Victorian times City bankers ruled over the world’s largest and strongest economy and the City remains even today the central financial district of London and Britain’s financial heart.
Here, opposing architectural styles, from 17th Century churches to modern glass sky rises all come together to create a dramatic yet somehow cohesive heart to our city, and you will find some of London’s most incredible landmarks in this area, from St. Paul’s Cathedral to Tower Bridge and the Tower of London.
