Holborn and Temple are London’s legal districts where you will find the Courts of Justice and the medieval Inns of Court. Most tourists miss out on this area or only pop by rapidly to see Temple Church, made famous through Dan Brown’s Da Vinci Code. But there is a lot more to see and it’s worth taking a few hours to wander through the medieval alleyways, hidden courtyards and tranquil gardens of this beautiful area that was once home to Charles Dickens.
