Strictly speaking, Bankside is the area south of the river Thames between Blackfriars Bridge and London Bridge. However this download also covers all the way up to Tower Bridge.
Today this area is home to great cultural venues including the Tate Modern Museum of Modern Art and Shakespeare’s Globe Theatre, the fantastic Borough Market, the Mayor’s offices in City Hall and some great pubs, cafes and restaurants attracting tourists and locals alike.
